Matchday Turnstile Manager
An opportunity has arisen for a volunteer Matchday turnstile manager.
The volunteer would be required to arrive at the ground at 1pm for a Saturday 3pm KO and free to leave after 3:45pm. For a midweek game it’s a 6pm arrival for a 7:45pm KO and free to leave after 8:30pm.
The candidate should have experience in customer service and should be technically savvy, able to operate and solve any technical issues arising with the turnstile equipment. Full onboarding and training on the equipment will be provided.
Due to the need to be on-hand during the first half of the game, the role would suit someone who wouldn't mind missing part of the game. Perhaps you’re a match going fan whose partner is at a loose end whilst you're at the game - this is a great opportunity for them to come along and play a key role in our matchday operation.
Key tasks include:
- Mobilisation of existing turnstile volunteers ahead of each home game to ensure appropriate cover is available.
- Recruitment of new turnstile volunteers working in conjunction with our volunteer liaison officer.
- Charging / updating of turnstile hardware
- Working with our ticketing manager to ensure known issues with certain tickets are understood - eg ticket suspension.
- Supervising the turnstile operators
- Providing occasional cover for turnstiles operators
- Solving any ticketing issues arising on the day
- Solving any technical issues with the equipment on the day
