On Saturday we progressed in the FA Trophy with victory away to Radcliffe Borough, 2-0. In the next round we travel to Scarborough Athletic. On Tuesday night we were away to Spennymoor in the Durham County Cup, when the under 18’s were used by Martin Gray. Unfortunately they were defeated 4-0 by a strong Spennymoor team, however it is still good experience for the youngsters.

The 2-1 victory keeps us second in the table and extends our unbeaten run in the league to twelve games.

Goals from David Dowson, Tom Portas and Leon Scott saw the side comfortably beat Lancaster City 3-0 at Heritage Park. At the weekend the Quakers had lost 2-1 away to mid-table Clitheroe, despite taking an early lead through striker Dowson.
