Work on the new "Tin Shed" is nearing completion. We're awaiting the installation of the last sections of cladding, crush barriers,lighting and yellow paint marking of gangway steps etc.
The Seated Stand shell is complete awaiting lighting installations and delivery of the terraced seating units which have arrived at Portsmouth Docks from China and are expected to be delivered for installation at the end of this week.
Pitch perimeter fencing is well advanced on the South side and West end of the Ground. When complete remaining perimeter paving can proceed.
Roof trusses have now been erected on the new Changing Rooms ready for progress on the gable walls and roof covering, when fitting out can proceed. Foundation preparation is also proceeding for construction of the new Machinery Store and Officials' Changing Rooms. Work on the new rear Entrance to the Clubhouse is also on schedule.
Excavation works for street lighting ducts to the new Car Park commenced last week and construction of the Car Park itself will commence next Monday.
Turnstile Units are scheduled for delivery next week and the Spectator Toilets will be lifted into place later in November with completion of enclosing fencing and paving to the Ground.
The Dug Outs have been ordered with sponsor names etc.and will be in place for the first match, together with new goal posts etc.
