The top two in the Vanarama National North meet in what is potentially Quakers' final game at Heritage Park -- and the club wants as many fans as possible to cheer them on against the league leaders.

With the move to Blackwell Meadows close to completion this fixture could be the final home game for the club after four and a half terrific seasons at  Heritage Park.

We suffered our first away league defeat of the campaign last weekend, but have the chance to close the gap on Fylde straight away. We fell to a 2-1 defeat at Tamworth despite taking an early lead through a Terry Galbraith penalty, a result that ended our eight game unbeaten run.

Manager Martin Gray wants his team to bounce straight back against a team that has lost only once in the league this season, and also wants the fans to turn out in force.

Meanwhile Fylde smashed Stalybridge Celtic 5-0 to extend their lead over ourselves to four points. The league’s top scorer Danny Rowe scored a hat-trick in the game to take his league tally to 23 for the season.

The league leaders arrive in fantastic form having only lost one game so far, also losing away to Tamworth. However, overall, they have won six of their eight games away from home.

AFC Fylde had been known as Kirkham & Wesham until 2008, but since then they have enjoyed great success. They have been in the National North for the last two seasons, on both occasions finishing in the playoffs, but both times failing to gain promotion. Last season they lost in the final to North Ferriby after extra time.
