National League club agrees transfer

Darlington have today agreed the transfer of Justin Donawa to National League side Solihull Borough for an undisclosed fee.

Justin signed for us in the summer of 2019, and made 42 full and substitute appearances scoring 11 times. He was the second highest scorer in the club last season, and scored twice in our recent 6-1 FA Cup win over Tadcaster Albion. He made his last appearance for us as a substitute in the 2-0 home win over Cambridge City on Saturday.

Here's his goal against Gainsborough in the FA Trophy last season:

and his second goal in the FA Cup against Tadcaster

Alun has this to say on the transfer (apologies for the bumps on the sound quality):

We would like to thank Justin for what he’s done for us, and wish him all the best for the future.
