Despite conceding a stoppage time equaliser at home to league leaders Chorley we stayed in 16th place in the league table and are now seven points ahead of the bottom three.
Third bottom Ashton United fell to a 2-0 defeat at Alfreton. Bobby Johnson and Declan Bacon scored the goals for Alfreton inside the final 20 minutes of the game.
FC United of Manchester are six points off safety, despite scoring a last minute equaliser against Hereford. Chris Sharp put FC United ahead early on, but Michael Symons levelled shortly after. Elliot Richards put Hereford ahead for what have been a crucial win in their own survival bid, before Kurt Willoughby made it 2-2 in stoppage time.
In the big game at the top of the table Stockport County beat Spennymoor 1-0 in front of over 6,000 fans, a record at this level. Sam Walker scored the only goal 18 minutes from time for County. It moved them within a point of Chorley with a game in hand. Spennymoor are four behind Stockport with one more game left to play.
Brackley continued their recent charge towards a spot in the playoffs with a 3-1 win at Blyth to dent the hosts own top seven hopes at the same time. Dan Maguire put Blyth ahead after eight minutes. However, two goals from Shane Byrne and one from Gareth Dean gave Brackley the win.
Altrincham remain fifth following a 4-0 win over Chester. All the goals came in the second half through Joe Piggott, a double from Josh Hancock and John Johnston. Chester are ninth, three points off the playoffs.
Bradford PA are sixth despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Curzon Ashton. Jake Beesley put Bradford ahead, before Ryan Brooke and Cameron Mcjannet turned the game in the Nash’s favour. Bradford rescued a point though as Beesley grabbed his second on the hour mark.
Telford scored a vital last minute goal to earn a point at Boston and keep them in the final playoff spot. Dominic Udoh had put Telford ahead after just ten minutes with Ben Davies and Gavin Allott turning the match in the Pilgrims favour. However, Theo Streete made it 2-2 in injury time to give Telford a point.
Kidderminster are still in the playoff hunt after a 4-1 win at home to bottom of the table Nuneaton. Ashley Chambers scored a hat-trick for Harriers with Joe Ironside also scoring. Michael Townsend had at one stage brought Nuneaton level.
Guiseley are still only three points ahead of the danger zone after a 1-0 defeat at home to Southport. Jack Sampson scored the winner early in the second half.
Leamington are also still in relegation trouble after a 1-0 defeat at home to York. Alex Kempster scored the only goal after 11 minutes.
