We got back to winning ways on a Saturday with a 2-0 victory at home to Chester. The three points saw us move up four places into 12th, seven points off the final playoff spot.

King’s Lynn Town moved three points clear at the top of the table after a 3-0 win at home to Blyth Spartans. Chris Henderson, Michael Gash and Adam Marriott scored the goals for the hosts as their made it three straight wins in a row.

Second placed York City were held to a draw at struggling Kettering Town 0-0.

Southport in fourth are now level on points with third place Chester after a 1-0 win at home to Gloucester. Bradley Bauress scored the only goal in the first half for Port.

Brackley Town won 2-0 away at Guiseley thanks to goals from Glenn Walker and Lee Ndlovu, while the hosts finished the game with ten men.

Spennymoor are sixth despite being held to a 2-2 draw at Leamington. Kaiman Anderson put the Brakes ahead in the first minute of the match, but quick fire goals from Rob Ramshaw and Ryan Hall turned the game in the Moors favour. However, after Glen Taylor missed a penalty for Spennymoor Josh March scored a spot kick for Leamington to earn them a point.

Boston United are in the final playoff spot after a 3-1 win at Kidderminster Harriers. Jordan Thewlis put Boston ahead in the ninth minute before Cliff Moyo brought Harriers level. However, Dom Knowles and Jonathan Wafula both scored in the second period to give the Pilgrims the points.

Farsley continued their good season so far and are just outside the playoffs after a 2-0 win at Telford United. Both goals came in the second half, the first through Akeel Francis before an own goal sealed the win.

Gateshead are ninth having beat Alfreton 3-1 Joshua Kayode put the Heed ahead in the first half, but Alfreton were level thanks to Dale Whitham. However, the Heed took the points thanks to late goals from Jordan Preston and a second from Kayode.

At the other end of the table Bradford PA remain bottom, but picked up a valuable three points at home to Altrincham. Tom Clare and Oli Johnson scored the goals in either half.

Curzon Ashton also picked up a crucial win to move away from the bottom three at home to Herford. Sean Miller and Charlie Jolley scored goals in the first 30 minutes as Curzon won 2-0.
