We were held to a 2-2 draw at Leamington despite being 2-0 up at half time. The point saw us drop one place in the league to 14th.

Kidderminster Harriers closed the gap at the top but were not able to take full advantage of Chorley’s loss as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Guiseley.

Boston United have moved up to fourth after a 3-1 victory over Hereford. Gavin Allott, Joshua Hine and Jordan Slew scored the goals for the Pilgrims in the second half. George Lloyd had pulled one back for Hereford with the game at 2-0.

Spennymoor were held at home to Curzon Ashton to a 0-0 the result leaves them fifth, seven points off the top.

Telford are sixth after coming from behind to beat York 2-1, who remain outside the playoffs. Macauley Langstaff gave York a first half lead, before Darryl Knights brought Telford level. However, the hosts took all the points after Stephan Morley scored the winner in stoppage time.

Brackley are in the final play off place, but had to settle for a point at FC United of Manchester. The hosts, who moved off the bottom of the table last week, took the lead through Michael Potts after half an hour, with James Armson scoring to earn Brackley a 1-1 draw.

Southport remain bottom of the table after a home defeat to Blyth. Spartans moved away from the bottom three thanks to Robbie Dale scoring the only goal of the game just after half time.

Nuneaton are also in the bottom three but earned what could be a valuable point at Stockport County. Adam Mcgurk put Nuneaton ahead early on before goals from Adam Thomas and Sam Walker turned the game in County’s favour, However, Nuneaton shocked the playoff chasing hosts with Miles Addison earning a 2-2 draw with 12 minutes left.

Altrincham moved into the top half with a comfortable victory over Ashton United John Johnston scored twice along with a goal for Owen Dale to give Alty a 3-0 win.

Chester earned a dramatic 3-2 victory over Alfreton which leaves them outside the top seven only on goal difference. Gary Roberts scored after just four minutes for Chester, before our former captain Reece Styche levelled for Alfreton just three minutes later. Bobby Johnson put the visitors ahead after 20 minutes, but they were reduced to ten men before half time. Roberts got his second to bring Chester back on terms, before they also had a man dismissed meaning the game would finish ten a side. Despite that it was Robert’s who would grab the headlines as he sealed his hat-trick to take all the points in injury time for Chester.
