Chorley moved back to the top of the table with a comfortable 4-0 win over FC United of Manchester. All the goals came in the second half as Elliot Newby and Joshua O’Keefe both scored twice for Chorley.

Bradford Park Avenue fell to a shock 2-1 home defeat to Guiseley. Olukayode Odejayi had given the visitors the lead on the stroke of half time. Oliver Johnson then levelled for Park Avenue, however Rowan Liburd won the game for Guiseley with 20 minutes to go.

Stockport’s recent good form continued as they won 1-0 at promotion rivals Altrincham. Matthew Warburton scored the only goal of the game after 27 minutes.

Telford United won in the early kick-off at bottom of the table Nuneaton, but had to come from behind. Ryan Edmunds gave Nuneaton the lead in the first half, before two goals in the final 11 minutes from Andre Brown and Henry Cowans saw Telford claim a 2-1 victory and go fourth.

Spennymoor will be disappointed to have dropped points having been 2-0 up at home to Blyth Spartans but they had to settle for a point. Joe Atkinson and Andrew Johnson had the Brewers in control at the break, but two quick fire goals from Aaron Cunningham and Sean Reid earned Blyth a 2-2 draw.

Chester are sixth, but were held to a 0-0 draw by 15th place Southport.

Our next opponents Kidderminster came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Hereford. James Roberts put the Bulls ahead early on, but Kane Richards levelled just three minutes later. Despite being down to ten men for all of the second half, if was Harriers who went on to win the game thanks to Declan Weeks’ goal in the 47th minute.

Curzon Ashton picked up a crucial victory in the fight to avoid relegation at rivals Ashton United to move themselves away from the drop zone. Paul Ennis had put Ashton ahead before the break before two goals in four minutes from Oliver Crankshaw and Christopher Rowney gave Curzon the 2-1 victory.

Alfreton scored a last minute equaliser to Boston to earn a 1-1 draw. Nicholas walker put the Pilgrims ahead in just the second minute before Nathan Hotte scored in stoppage time at the end of the game for Alfreton.

In the final game of the day mid-table sides Leamington and Brackley held each other to 0-0 draw.
