Quakers looking for seventh straight win

Hereford are visitors to Blackwell Meadows for Tez's 250th

We are looking for our seventh straight win when Hereford come to Blackwell Meadows on Saturday.

The last time we won seven games in a row was in our EvoStik League title campaign -- all of those were league wins -- but we will have a tough test against our visitors, who include former Darlington players Reece Styche and Jordan Nicholson in their squad.

For ourselves, manager Alun Armstrong expects to have the same squad as Wednesday. Full back Michael Liddle played despite the effects of flu, while keeper Liam Connell plays the last game of his loan, although negotiations are ongoing with Shields about either another month’s loan or a permanent transfer.

All being well, skipper Terry Galbraith will start his 250th league game for the club -- his service stretches back to 2012, making him the second longest serving player at the club.
