Thanks to Karl, here are a selection of programmes from games in 1981, including the first scheduled Sunday league game. (We'd already played on a Sunday out of necessity in the 70s during the power strike)

The programme for the home game against York on 3rd January 1981, a goalless draw with 3,209 watching.

After losing at Southend, we played Bury on 24th January 1981 and win 2-1, John Stalker and Alan Walsh on target.

A promising season got even better when we won 1-0 at Wigan on 7th February 1981, Ian Hamilton scoring the only goal.

Our lead pic is of the Sunday home game against Mansfield, when 5,932 -- at least double the average -- saw a 2-2 draw, Ian Hamilton and Alan Walsh scoring.

We had another Sunday game a fortnight later against Hereford, and this time we came out on top by 2-1, John Stalker getting them both with 3,491 inside Feethams.
