A 1-0 victory at home to bottom club Padiham, was followed by victory at Brighouse Town, 3-1, with Amar Purewal scoring another three goals this week. We are now second in the table, a point behind leaders Salford, however we have played more games than those around us.

    Our nominated charity this season, the Great North Air Ambulance Service and Darlington Operatic Society are holding a 5K fun run round Darlington's South Park on Sunday 5th October 2014 at 11am. The event has a £10 entry with all proceeds going to the GNAAS who respond to around 1,000 call outs each year and this money will go towards keeping the helicopters flying.

On Saturday we lost 1-0 at home to league leaders Salford, before drawing 1-1 at Radcliffe Borough on Tuesday night. We are currently ninth in the league table, three points off the final playoff spot.

    Darlington will take on West Auckland on Wednesday night, 3rd September, KO 7.30pm at Heritage Park in a replay of their preliminary FA Cup fixture. Saturday’s fixture at the Seagrave Stadium finished in a 1-1 draw.
