Darlington Football Club / 4th September 2014 Simon Hahn gives us his weekly round up. This week all of the sides from our division competed in the FA Cup preliminary round. It will take a side from our division five ties to qualify for the first round proper, but for all this was the first step.
Darlington Football Club / 25th September 2014 Simon Hahn brings us his regular round up Darlington’s recent struggles continued, as we picked up one point from our two games this week. On Saturday we lost 1-0 at home to league leaders Salford, before drawing 1-1 at Radcliffe Borough on Tuesday night. We are currently ninth in the league table, three points off the final playoff spot.

At Kendal Town on Saturday we trailed 3-0 inside 15 minutes and despite goals from defenders Ian Watson and Alan White we lost the game, 4-2. The week did not get any better on Tuesday night, as we lost two straight games in the league for the first time this season at Farsley. Despite goals from Nathan Cartman and Terry Galbraith, we again were defeated, 3-2.
