This week in the Evo-Stik League Division 1 North

Darlington Football Club / 9th October 2014 Simon Hahn brings us his week 8 Evo-Stik round up Darlington won both their games this week to make it four wins in a row. A 1-0 victory at home to bottom club Padiham, was followed by victory at Brighouse Town, 3-1, with Amar Purewal scoring another three goals this week. We are now second in the table, a point behind leaders Salford, however we have played more games than those around us.

Evo-Stik Round Up - Week 13

Darlington Football Club / 14th November 2014 Here's Simon Hahn's weekly Evo-Stik round up. Darlington made it eleven straight wins in league and cup, as we strengthened our position at the top of the league table. On Saturday we came away from Mossley with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Terry Galbraith, an own goal and a wonder strike from Stephen Thompson. We also played Whitby Town on Wednesday night in the Doodson Cup, where a youthful looking Quakers side lost out on penalties after a 3-3 draw.

Darlington Football Club / 26th February 2015 Here's Simon Hahn's weekly EvoStik round up Darlington suffered back to back defeats this week, as we relinquished top spot in the league. At Kendal Town on Saturday we trailed 3-0 inside 15 minutes and despite goals from defenders Ian Watson and Alan White we lost the game, 4-2. The week did not get any better on Tuesday night, as we lost two straight games in the league for the first time this season at Farsley. Despite goals from Nathan Cartman and Terry Galbraith, we again were defeated, 3-2.
