Darlington Football Club / 21st August 2014 Simon Hahn brings us his review of the past week. After our false start on Saturday, Darlington picked up their first points of the season at rivals Spennymoor on Tuesday night. Two goals from Graeme Armstrong ensured Darlo would go home happy with a great result and performance.
Darlington Football Club / 20th August 2014 Summer signing Graeme Armstrong was on target twice for Darlington as they visited neighbours Spennymoor Town. Both of his goals arrived in a dominate first half display for the visitors as they claimed a deserved three points.
Darlington Football Club / 11th September 2014 Simon Hahn brings us his weekly round up Darlington suffered a disappointing week, as we were only able to pick up one point from our two games against Droylsden and Farsley. At Droylsden on Saturday we lost 2-1, before conceding a last minute equaliser to draw 1-1 at home to Farsley on Wednesday.
Darlington Football Club / 3rd October 2014 Simon Hahn brings us his weekly Evo-Stik update Darlington moved up to second in the table this week following back to back wins. We came back from Ossett Town with a 2-0 victory at the weekend, before comfortably beating Harrogate RA on Wednesday night 7-1.
Darlington Football Club / 15th October 2014 Darlington scored a goal in each half to record their sixth successive win against Ossett Albion at Heritage Park and go back to the top of the table.
Darlington Football Club / 24th October 2014 Simon Hahn brings us his weekly Evo-Stik round up This week Darlington took a break from league action, as they competed in two cup competitions. On Saturday we progressed in the FA Trophy with victory away to Radcliffe Borough, 2-0. In the next round we travel to Scarborough Athletic. On Tuesday night we were away to Spennymoor in the Durham County Cup, when the under 18’s were used by Martin Gray. Unfortunately they were defeated 4-0 by a strong Spennymoor team, however it is still good experience for the youngsters.
Darlington Football Club / 12th November 2014 Darlington were presented with the October Team of the Month award last night – but they won’t be presented with the Dodson Sport League Cup after losing 3-1 on penalties to Whitby Town after being 3-0 up at one stage.
Darlington Football Club / 16th January 2015 Many thanks to Simon Hahn for a preview of tomorrow's game. Tomorrow we host Prescot Cables looking to keep up the pressure on current league leaders Salford City. We are currently three points behind Salford, with four games in hand. After the disappointment of our trip to Padiham falling foul to the weather last week, it is hoped the game tomorrow will go ahead despite Bishop Auckland’s last two games at Heritage Park both being postponed.
