Ben began his career at Morecambe, spending two years in their academy before signing professional terms and spending a further two seasons with the Shrimps.
After leaving Morecambe in the summer of 2019, he had a short spell with Bradford (Park Avenue) before joining The Quakers in September 2019 — making him the club’s longest-serving current player.
Since making his debut away to Gloucester City, Ben has gone on to make 189 appearances for the club, playing primarily at right-back or left-back, but also stepping into midfield when needed.
He was part of the side that drew away to Walsall in the 2019 FA Cup first round, and featured again in the 2020/21 team that memorably defeated Swindon Town in the same competition.
Manager Steve Watson said:
“Ben is our longest-serving player now, and we were pleased when he said that he wanted to stay. He's an athletic player and gives us options in different positions.”
We’re proud to see Ben continue his journey with the club and look forward to another strong season from a player who embodies the spirit and commitment of The Quakers.
