Tom Platt

Position: Midfielder

Tom began his career at York City, playing in League Two before joining Harrogate Town permanently in 2016. He then moved to Alfreton and later Boston United, helping them into the playoffs twice.

Tom joined The Quakers at the start of the 2023/24 season, becoming club captain and a fan favourite. Despite injury setbacks last season, he made 68 appearances and remains a key figure in central midfield.

Manager Steve Watson said:

“Platty was the player of the 2023-24 season across the board, but unfortunately, he missed a lot of last season. If we can get him back to where he was (and there's no reason why not) there aren't many better players at this level.”
