Toby joined Darlington from Blyth Spartans in the summer of 2023 and is now entering his fourth year with the Quakers. Since arriving at Blackwell Meadows, he has established himself as a consistent and dependable presence in the heart of the defence.
The defender has made 136 appearances for the club and scored ten goals, becoming a key figure in Darlington’s back line thanks to his reliability, availability and ability to perform across different defensive roles.
During the 2025/26 season, Toby made 45 appearances and scored five goals, including a goal in the impressive 5-2 victory over Peterborough Sports at Blackwell Meadows. His consistency and contribution have made him one of the squad’s most trusted performers.
