Kallum began his career in the Sunderland academy, where he played alongside Jordan Henderson and Martin Waghorn, before spending three years in the youth setup at Bradford City.

In 2009, he joined Spennymoor Town, going on to make an incredible 389 appearances as the club rose from the Northern League to the National League North. During his time with Moors, Kallum won the FA Vase in 2013, four Northern League titles, and promotions from both the Evo-Stik First Division North and Evo-Stik Premier Division.

Darlington supporters may remember Kallum from the 2015 play-off semi-final against Spennymoor, when he famously struck the crossbar from 40 yards in a tense encounter.

Kallum left Spennymoor in 2018 to move into full-time football with York City, where he spent two seasons and featured in the 2020 play-offs against Altrincham. He then joined Gateshead in 2020, before signing for The Quakers in the summer of 2021.

Since arriving at the club, Kallum has made 111 appearances, scoring four goals, including a memorable winner against King’s Lynn in the most recent campaign.

Manager Steve Watson said:

“A fit and hungry Kallum is one of the best right-backs at this level. He's got great quality on the ball, and he will be vital for us in the new season.”

We’re delighted that Kallum has committed to another season with the club and look forward to seeing him continue to play a key role in the team.
