Elliot began his career with Gateshead in 2018, making 56 appearances and helping the club win promotion to the National League in 2022. During his time there, he also played under current manager Steve Watson.

He spent time on loan at Spennymoor Town during the 2022/23 season, making eight appearances, before another loan spell with Blyth Spartans. Elliot joined Blyth on a permanent basis in January 2024, where he remained until the end of the campaign.

In the summer of 2024, Elliot made the move to The Quakers, quickly establishing himself as an important part of the defence. He made 36 appearances throughout the season, scoring three goals, and became a key figure as the year progressed.

Manager Steve Watson said:

“Elliot came to us at the start of last season after a tough spell with injuries, so it was very much a trial season for both him and us. He came through with flying colours. He’s played comfortably at National League level and no doubt had offers elsewhere, so it speaks volumes about the club and our supporters that he’s chosen to stay. He’s shown he can play centre-half or centre-midfield, which gives us real flexibility and allows our full-backs to push higher — something we’ll need next season.”

We’re delighted to have Elliot on board again for the new campaign and look forward to seeing him build on last season’s strong performances.
