Paddy McLaughlin

We’re pleased to announce the loan signing of Paddy McLaughlin from York City until the end of November 2025.

Paddy brings a wealth of experience to the squad, having played for Newcastle United, York City — where he won the FA Trophy and Conference play-offs in 2012 — Grimsby Town, Gateshead, and Hartlepool United. He has also earned ten caps for Northern Ireland Under-21s.

Now in his tenth season with York City, Paddy is familiar with Manager Steve Watson, having previously played under him, and joins Darlington to provide leadership and experience in midfield.
