Liam joined the Quakers from league rivals Buxton in February 2016. He arrived at the club with a fantastic goalscoring record at the club which he had joined in the summer of 2014.

During the 2015/16 season he had scored 19 goals before his arrival at Heritage Park including two goals against Darlington for Buxton.

He made his debut for Darlington in the 4-3 win at Salford City on the 13th February and scored his first goal for the club in the dramatic 3-2 victory against Salford at Heritage Park two weeks later.

When he was at Buxton, he scored one of the fastest hat tricks in the club’s history, and earlier in his career he scored 46 goals in a season for Armthorpe in the Northern Counties East League. He has also played for Harrogate Town.
